Modish Living is a reclaimed and refurbished furniture company located in Brighton and Hove, East Sussex. They maintain a showroom in addition to their e-commerce Shopify store which I worked on.
I redeveloped Modish Living's Shopify site, introducing a new theme and incorporating numerous bespoke features.
Clare Short Clare Short is Britain's former Secretary of State for International Development. In addition to numrous shadow and Cabinet positions she served as MP for Birmingham Ladywood for 27 years. Since leaving politics she has served as an advocate and chair of numerous NGOs and development advocacy groups.
I was hired by Clare to rebuild her professional website from a static legacy site to a modern site backed with WordPress.org.
I continue to work for Clare on retainer in a combined development and SEO package.
I was hired by the University of Sussex's Digital Humanities Lab to customise the Making African Connections Digital Archive, an AHRC-funded research project. This involved frontend alterations and the creation of several backend processes designed to assist the researchers in managing content.
I developed the site working within its pre-existing CMS Omeka-S, primarily using PHP, MySQL, SCSS and jQuery.
Colour Me KT is a refurbished and upscaled furniture store based in Hoddeston, Hertfordshire. It also has a Shopify storefront which I work on.
